I remember walking into Little steps Montessori for the first time, to meet you and to enquire about the school. You were still setting up the school for the first school year. Sanjay didn't waste a minute and started exploring all of the educational toys. He had been going to a couple of national chain day care learning centers, and we could tell he was getting bored after 3 1/2 years in similar setups. We liked all that Little steps had to offer - Montessori system, comparatively small group of children at the school, your experience, lots and lots of educational toys, close to home. We thought it would be a good change for him. But we never expected it would have such a positive impact on him. During the last year, he had surprised us on several occasions with things he learned from you. Science, language, math, social skills, healthy eating habits and everything in between. Yesterday he found a snowflake decoration at home from his toy box and made a four line poem and repeated it twice for us - I was speechless. Once, on the dinner table he did "three times four" in the air - a technique you taught him. Big numbers don't scare him, he looks at them and says "easy peasy lemon squeezy" and sums them up. Yeah we help him at home but he leads us. We have met all of his class mates and I can say they all share the these traits. The only time he didn't want to go to Little steps was his first day at school. We don't remember him waiting for us at the end of the day to pick him up. It's always been, hi Mom, hi Dad, yeah give me a few more mins! Drop offs were the other way around. A few times he called Mom - Ms. Sarkar and that's proof you spend quality time with the kids throughout the day. It's amazing how you have prepared him for his transition to Kindergarten. We feel he is totally ready, academically, and psychologically. Thank you so much for helping shape him in his formative years. -Visha & Ram
